It's all done and taken care of. The nice lady from Zion's called today and my background check went through just fine. I'm scheduled to start the new job on Monday.
Scary!
I'm going to miss everyone at my current job. It's been wonderful! Wearing jeans every day, laughing and talking, working and learning, and building friendships.
The final decision to take the Zion's job came after a lot of thought and prayer. Ultimately, we'll be in Utah for another two years, and while the compensation is something of a lateral move, the title, experience and position are a step up, which will help in finding a banking job back east.
Anybody who knows me knows how I deal with change.
Yes, that WAS me buying two cartons of chocolate ice cream last night...
